Grass-Fed
Ireland’s pure and natural environment is perfect for producing great dairy products – the way nature intended. Irish cows are all grass-fed. They graze in open pasture, with fresh clean air throughout the year. Grass-fed cows are healthier cows as they produce milk closer to their natural output.
Ireland’s average herd size is much smaller than other dairy producing nations – at less than 100 cows – so animal welfare remains a top priority at farm level. These natural advantages and expert care have helped Ireland become one of the foremost milk producers in the world.
5 Star Quality
Avonmore Professional has the strictest quality standards of any dairy in Ireland. With full traceability and a unique test of lactose levels for quality control, Avonmore Professional’s milk undergoes a 35 step testing programme quality from grass to glass by its highly accredited laboratories.
Our UHT production facility is equipped with the most modern technology to give its UHT milk and cream range a more refined taste with longer shelf life.

Avonmore Professional’s team of quality advisors work with our farmer suppliers to achieve high standards in all aspects of farm management.
Avonmore Professional has full traceability of its milk. Every batch can be traced back to individual farms. Each farm is individually sampled when we collect the milk, and this sample is sent to our independently CLAS accredited farm laboratory for testing.
The Quality team provides assistance to the farmer, to ensure only the finest quality milk is used in our products.
